Q & A : Wireless Transceiver

How can I resolve the audio lag or lip-sync when watch the TV?

It has little voice delay when you are using Bluetooth devices. You will never eliminate delay because of how Bluetooth works.  This is similar to time lag happen for TV video signal between settop box (digital signal) and from via Antenna directly.

However, this audio delay can be reduced if both Bluetooth audio transmitter and receiver are with fast-streaming, low latency audio feature.

Currently, Nolan TRX_HD and HDM model (not included TRXPLUS) are supporting low latency with FastStream.  If users’ Bluetooth speakers/receivers/headphones support FastStream with low latency, lip-sync can be reduced. If not, Users can consider using Nolan Bluetooth Receiver (Rx) with latest FastStream, low audio latency supporting with only 0.035s delay (10 x less the current one) as your receiver to work with TRX_HD/HDM when watch TV.  It may resolve lip-sync or audio delay issue.

Users can plug the audio out from Rx to line-in/audio-in of speakers/headphones to receive audio from Bluetooth TRX_HD/HDM with low latency.
